樂曲解說	氣若游絲的尚萬強獨自一人，身旁放著一個木製十字架，他在為芳汀的女兒珂賽特與馬里歐，也為自己祈禱。此時芳汀的靈魂現身，感謝他代為養育之恩，並溫柔的帶他走，這時馬里歐與珂賽特趕了進來，不由自主哀哭著不要離開他們。最後愛波寧與戰事中死亡的人們紛紛出現，大伙合唱「終曲」（Epilogue, Finale），終其一生悲慘的人們，上帝在天堂使他們光明的活著並永遠自由喜樂！全劇最終的宗旨：愛、自由、寬恕、憐憫，在最後一觸即發，爆發人們的渴望。
