The moon’s a gong hung in the wild,

Whose song the fays hold dear 

Of course you do not hear it, child.

It takes a FAIR-Y ear.

The full moon is a splendid gong

That beats as night grows still.

It sounds above the evening song

Of dove or whippoorwill

孩子，你當然聽不到。

想聽到就得要到一個妖精耳朵。

滿月是一個輝煌的鑼

隨著夜晚的增長，鑼也被敲打。

它聽起來高於黃昏之歌
