Daniel was a man,

lived long ago when Nebuchadnezzar was king.

Daniel was a man who trusted God; 

he even interpreted dreams.

It made some folks jealous,

and over zealous,

the way Neb treated our man.

So, when the king died,

They talked and tried to carry out this plan.

「One day king Darius(the new king)was tricked into making a bad decree!

And when Daniel read it, he just couldn’t obey.

It said that no one could pray to or worship anyone

except Darius, the king.

Daniel believed in God, so he couldn’t change a thing.

He still prayed every day in the same old way,

and for that he was thrown into the lions’ den.」

Daniel was thrown into a den of lions;

they hadn’t even been fed!

Daniel was thrown into a den of lions ’cause his enemies wanted him dead!

Daniel trusted God,

ol’ Dan was secure,

the lions were kept in line.

And on the next day when the king looked in,

he saw that Daniel was fine!

Daniel wrote the manual on trusting in the Lord because he knew he was right.

Daniel faced the lions,

didn’t even have a sword;

his faith in God was his might.

但以理是個男人，

手上甚至沒有劍；

他對上帝的信仰是他的力量。
