I remember in my first Brownie troup,

I called my best friend a big stupe.

Well the leader hauled me up on the mat,

‘cause nice girls don’t talk like that.

She said it was important that I see 

My words were hurting no one but me.

An’ she told me to apologize, but no.

I just couldn’t let it go.

My big mouth wouldn’t close.

Why did I do it?

No one knows, but my big mouth wouldn’t close.

I remember when the neighbor’s kid was four,

An’ I made her lick some Pepsi off the floor.

Well I’d never seen my mother’s lips so blue.

“Young lady, what’s gotten into you!?”

She ordered me to go to my room,

And prepare for the lowering of the boom,

That’s unless I apologized, but no.

I’d like to thank the academy for this great honor,

And thank my Mom, for all the garbage I laid on her.

And for a voice that carries to the very back of this hall,

I just wana thank you all.

Thanks to friends and foes, my big mouth cannot close.

 

我記得我的第一次女童子軍軍團，

我稱呼我最好的朋友是一個大傻瓜。

噯，那位領導把我拖到墊子上，
