I jump, I bite.

How it amuses me,

Lord!

How ingenious Lord!

How ingenious to have made me so small,

With this spring board leap!

A royal game.

I own I out a spice of malice in it,

Have more power to upset the world,

I have more pow’r than the elephant.

When I think of that I could die of laughing.

Lord will you let me into your paradise and not be afraid,

That I shall turn it upside down?

I dare not say Amen.

它如何逗我高興，

主！

多麼巧妙的主啊！

如何巧妙地讓我這麼小，

跳起來猶如有跳板幫忙！

一流的花招。

我擁有一些惡意，

有更多的力量來擾亂世界，

我比大象更有力量。

當我想到此，我可能會因笑而死。

主啊，你會讓我進入你的天堂而不感到害怕，

我應該把它顛倒過來？
