Süβen Gesang ; mit Freuden es selig in dem

Himmel klang, sie jauchzten fröhlich auch dabei,

Daβ Petrus sei von Sünden frei.

Mit seinen zwölf Jüngern das Abendmahl aβ:

Da sprach der Herr Jesus:

Was stehst du den hier?

 

Wenn ich dich anseh;

So weinest du mir!

Und sollt ich nicht weinen.

Du gütiger Gott.

Du sollst ja nicht weinen !

 

Ich hab übertreten die zehn Gebot. 

Ich gehe und weine ja bitterlich.

Du sollst ja nicht weinen !

Ach komm und erbarme dich über mich!

 

Hast du denn übertreten die zehen Gebot.

So fall’ auf die Kniee und bete zu Gott!

Lie be nur Gott!

Die Gott in alle Zeit!

So wirst du erlangen die himmlische Freud;

Die himmlische Freud:die selige Stadt,

Die himmlische Freud:die kein Endemehr hat!

 

Die himmlische Freude war Petro bereit’t.

Durch Jesum und allen zur Seligkeit.

Ding dong

Three angels were singing a gleeful song;

So blissful and joyously the Heavens rang,

And they rejoiced full of glee,

That Peter of his sins was free,

He was of sinning free,

And as our Lord Jesus at table sat,

With all twelve apostles at His supper sat:

Then sayeth Lord Jesus,

Why standest thou here?

When I look at thee,

Thou weepest a tear!

But must I not weep,

Thou most gracious Lord.

But thou must not weep!

I broke the commands and my sin is deep.

Here am I and weep most bitterly.

O come Thou and pity me!

O come and have mercy and pity me!

And if thou hast then broken the holy commands then fall on thy knees and to God raise thy hands!

Love thou but God.

God in eternity!

Then wilt thou attain to the heavenly bliss is a wonderful site,

O eternal delight!

The heavenly bliss is for Peter in store;

Through Jesus for all and for evermore.

 

叮咚

三位天使正在唱一首歡樂的歌；

如此幸福和歡樂，喜樂響徹天國，

他們滿心歡喜地高興，

當我們的主耶穌坐在桌旁時，

所有十二位使徒都跟他一起用晚膳：

當我看著你，

你哭得最厲害！

但我不可能不哭，

你是最仁慈的主。

但你不能哭！

我違反戒律，我的罪很深。

在這裡，我最痛苦地哭泣。

來吧，你，求你憐憫！

來吧，同情並求你憐憫！

如果你違反神聖的戒律，那就必須跪下，

向上帝舉起你的手！

永遠只愛神。

永恆的上帝！

然後，你將獲得天賜的幸福，那是個有福的城，

永恆的喜悅！

天賜的喜樂由彼得來領受；

耶穌將喜樂也永遠賜予世人。
