Dead in the cold,

a song singing thrush,

Dead at the foot of a snowberry bush,

Weave him a coffin of rush,

Dig him a grave where the soft mosses grow,

Raise him a tombstone of snow.

 

在寒冷中死去，

一隻唱歌的畫眉鳥，

死在雪莓灌木叢根部，

替他編織一個緊急的棺材，

在柔軟的苔蘚生長的地方，替他挖一個墓穴，
