When Jesus wept,

the falling tear 

In mercy flowed be yond all bound ;

When Jesus groaned,

a trembling fear seized all ye guilty world around.

When Jesus sighed,

His loving heart 

Did all His enemies confound,

When Jesus cried,

the sun and stars did pause and tremble at the sound.

 

當耶穌哭泣時，

淚流滿面

在憐憫中流淌超越一切界限；

當耶穌呻吟時，

一股顫抖的恐懼奪取所有罪惡世界。

當耶穌嘆息時，

他的愛心

讓他的所有敵人皆混淆，

當耶穌哭泣時，

太陽和星星停下來，發出顫抖的聲音。
