More love to Thee!

Hear Thou the prayer I make On bended knee;

This is my earnest plea:

More love, O Christ to Thee, more love to Thee!

Once earthly joy I craved, sought peace and rest,

Now Thee alone I seek, I seek Thee Give what is best;

This all my prayer shall be:

more love, O Christ, to Thee, more love to Thee!

My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine,

For Thee all the follies of sin I resign;

My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou;

If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now.

In mansions of glory and endless delight I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright;

I’ll sing with the glittering crown upon my brow,

If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus ‘tis now!

Then shall my latest breath whisper Thy praise;

This be the parting cry my heart shall raise,

This still its prayer shall be:

More love, O Christ, to Thee, more love to Thee!

更加愛你，哦基督，

更加愛你！

請聽我屈膝的禱告；

這是我誠心的祈求：

更愛，哦基督，更加愛祢！

我曾經渴求世俗的喜樂，探求安詳與安寧，

現在我只追求祢，我求祢賜予最好的；

一切的祈禱都因為：

更愛祢，哦基督，愛祢，更加愛你！

我的耶穌，我愛祢，我知道祢屬於我，

我願為祢捨棄所有罪惡中的宴樂；

我仁慈的救主，我的救世主是祢；

若我曾愛祢，我的主耶穌，便是現在。

我會總在那榮耀與歡愉的歡樂天堂中崇拜祢；

即使我戴著閃爍的冠冕也要唱出歌聲，

若我曾愛祢，我的主耶穌，便是現在。

我臨終的喘息仍要低吟讚美祢；

我心仍要發出臨別的哭求，

它依然祈禱著：

更加愛祢，哦基督，愛祢，更加愛祢！
