Long time ago in Bethlehem,
So the holly Bible say,
Mary’s boy Child, Jesus Christ,
Was born on Christmas Day.

Hark now hear the angels sing,
A new King born today,
And Man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.
Trumpets sound and the angels sing,
And listen to what they say.

While shepherds watch’d their flocks by night,
They see a bright new shining star,
They hear a choir sing,
The music seem’d to come from afar.

Now Joseph and his wife Mary
Come to Bethlehem that night,
They find no place to born her child,
Not a single room was in sight.

By and by they find a little nook
In a stable all forlorn,
And in a manger cold and dark
Mary’s little Boy was born.

當他們找到了一個小小的角落
在一個廢棄的馬廄裡，
在一個陰冷的馬槽裡
馬利亞的小小嬰孩誕生了。
